Water All Around Us: Rivers and Erosion

This week in science students explored how rivers form and flow. Students were also introduced to erosion.

Students making their "rivers" and testing out the affects of placing rocks along their river.

  1. Rivers start as tiny springs and creeks. The Mississippi River begins in Minnesota - it is so small you can walk across it!

We did matter when I was in first grade.I am happy that you were able to learn something from us.It swooshed around and sometimes just floated around. We had put rocks to get it to move and put it on a book to tilt it.
